At This Old House Studio, we curate timber cabinet hardware from leading Australian and international brands known for quality, consistency and thoughtful design. We supply timber joinery hardware from brands such as Kethy, Momo Handles and Castella Architectural Hardware.

Each manufacturer offers a range of timber finishes, most commonly:

• Oak – Warm, character-rich oak with a honeyed grain and classic appeal. Finished in protective clear oil that accentuates natural texture and colour variation — ideal for kitchens, wardrobes and living spaces that celebrate fine materials.

• Walnut – Deep chocolate walnut with expressive grain and luxurious presence. Smooth, refined, and crafted to elevate premium joinery or bespoke furniture with understated sophistication.

• Unfinished Oak – Pure oak in its natural state — no stain, no lacquer, just beautifully milled timber. Ready for finishing to suit your design intent, whether you’re custom staining, oiling, or creating unique colour effects.

• Various specialised Oak finishes – Selected manufacturers offer variations of Oak finishes such as ‘Natural Oak’ and ‘Charred Oak’ from Castella’s Hydrowood range. Hydrowood is a rare, reclaimed timber from Lake Pieman – each piece tells a story of craftsmanship and conservation.
